Where Art & Science Converge
As an artist and professional ecologist, I bring competing imperatives to my oil paintings.
Science is compelled to fill all knowledge gaps with explanation; art intentionally leaves spaces into which the viewer can bring something of themselves.
That tension is at the heart of my work.
New Collection
This was my most recent collection recently exhibited at the Capital Art Sale in Fredericton, New Brunswick (May 6-11, 2026).
A total of 28 original paintings were sold, though a handful have yet to find a home. Check out “Available” under the “Paintings” tab for details.
Thanks to everyone who came out to chat and engage, it’s my favourite part of these events!
